The Aloha State

Published June 20, 2023 Aloha from Hawaii! It’s been a hot minute since I last travelled here, with the main reason being $$$ – it is certainly not a cheap trip, nor is it a short flight. However, we had a special occasion to attend (more on that later!) but also gave me reason to experience more of the hikes and views around the island in general. This was a short trip for me. It was essentially 3 days and […]

The PNW

Published December 14, 2022 So this was a few months late, but I travelled to the Pacific Northwest (PNW) for a long overdue vacation. It was filled with food, hiking, and exploring with trips to Mt. Rainier, Mt. Baker, Snoqualmie Falls, and also crossed the border and headed to Vancouver! I’ve missed it so much, and the first thing you’ll notice when getting off the plan is how much fresher the air is up there. The abundance of wildlife and […]

To Zion

Published May 11, 2022 The annual national park tour heads to Zion National Park out in Utah, and the trip did not disappoint! Located in Southwest Utah, Zion is a huge state park filled with canyons, hiking trails, and cliffs. I am nowhere near a hiking expert, but this national park offers a variety of hiking levels, ranging from beginner to the more advanced/treacherous hikes.

Huskies in the Snow!

Published February 3, 2022 Hello hello! It’s been a good while since I’ve posted, but all is well amidst all of our current happenings. I recently headed out to Colorado to enjoy some time out in the snow. Being from Texas doesn’t let us see much of this, so this was a definite sight to see for me! A few things to be aware of heading to the Mile High City (and then some), is to stay hydrated! Although you […]

Under The Sea (ish)

Published July 2, 2021 Now that we’re getting back to some sort of normalcy in this world, I can get back into my passion, which is photography and all its aspects! Reflecting the past ten years of learning editing techniques/composition/posing/everything else related to getting a good overall has been a fun time. Of course, I’m not stopping any time soon, but it’s gotten to the time where i’ve been wanting to what is considered more of  “art” than just a […]

The Year for Self Improvement

It’s been over a year since I last updated, but, much like everyone else, the past year has been a roller coaster of a ride – with the pandemic putting a halt to almost everything in our lives except for survive, I had ample to to do a lot of self improvement. One of my main focuses was to become a better cook. My life consisted of eating out and, at most, making sandwiches or microwaveable meals. Could I have […]

The Edge of the Galaxy

A very dear friend and I headed out the Disney’s Hollywood Studios a week ago to check out Galaxy’s Edge. Definitely worth a visit, but wanted to give you some insight if you’re planning to visit it. There’s two rides found here: Smuggler’s Run, in which you and a team of people are piloting the Millennium Falcon through space, and Rise of the Resistance, which is a whole ride experience from being abducted by the Imperial Army, and the Resistance […]

Onward to Banff

Any nature lovers around? If you enjoy that, as well as hiking, definitely hit up Banff! Located about an hour west of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, it is a national park with tons of nature trails and scenic locations. It is a great escape (especially for me, form hot and humid Houston) and a breath of fresh air. We headed up there during the tail end of the summer rush, so it was light jacket weather, which I love!

Underneath the Neon Lights

Sorry for the lack of updates! I haven’t been able to maintain the blogging due to adulting (and also lack of traveling), but I’m hoping to provide some in the next few weeks because I have a few adventures ahead! I’ll keep that…

New Year, New Logo

Happy New Year! During the last month of 2018, I was contemplating changing my logo. I felt as if I may have outgrown it somehow. It felt a little distracting, as well as conflicting with two different fonts. I reached out to the people at…
